Nicole Roberge is a certified Ocean Therapy Practitioner as well as an Expressive and Creative Arts Facilitator (CAGS Salve Regina). Blending science and psychology, ocean-based practices support mental and physical health while regulating emotion, relieving anxiety, processing grief, deepening ecological awareness, and exploring creative connection through the arts. Therapeutic practices can take place on the shoreline, by lakes and streams, and even be integrated in the home for those without water access. Her gentle approach to each individual journey makes her a supportive and engaging holistic practitioner, and exercises are tailored to your needs, while group activities are still mindful of each participant's pace. Integrating these modalities into one’s daily life has been scientifically proven to alleviate stress and promote physical health. In addition to her other certifications, Roberge holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Fairfield University with a dual concentration in Fiction and Non-Fiction, and is author of the memoir, "Hang in There, Wherever 'There' is," about her struggle and recovery from Anorexia. She has served as a mentor to others in recovery from eating disorders and provided education and awareness in the community.
